DMA 179 - T Rex @ The R.O.M. - Posters

This was the part of the project where we had to layout our fonts and put them in poster form
Also researching previous R.O.M. posters to get an idea of what sort of campaigns the R.O.M. has used in the past.
The campaign I found, and decided to base my ideas from was done by designer Paul Wallace.
Specifically, he did the typography in the R.O.M.'s campaigns from April of 1996 to May of 2005.
His simple yet effective approach is what I was looking for.

Here are some quick notes I had for font ideas based on my research.

These are the preliminary fonts I tested in illustrator, I ended up going with Franchise Bold and Headline One as my font choices, here are the style guides.

Franchise

Headline One

Which brings us to the warm and cool colour poster layouts, here they are!

And that is the T-Rex at the R.O.M. project, really excited on how it turned out, all in all a very fun process to create all of these different elements to make one cohesive project.
